Principal puzzled

A slight damper was thrown on an otherwise heart-warming Foundation School graduation last night as some family members complained of not being properly treated at the affair.
Standing just outside the lobby of Hilton Barbados, relatives spoke angrily of not being able to sit together as relatives, not knowing where to sit, and stating: “We were asked to pay good money in order to see our families graduate.”
One graduand’s sister, who declined to give her name, told the SUNDAY SUN: “I paid my money Thursday afternoon, $110, with the impression that I would be able to see live my sister walk up the stairs, take her certificate, flip the thing over the hat and walk down but we have to watch her on a screen.”
She also said she, her dad and two relatives arrived at 6:25 for the 6:30 p.m. graduation, but no one ushered them in and they had to sit at different seats among the various tables.
