The Regent Hotel and the former Chefette Restaurant in Holetown, St James, are to be demolished in the next ten days.
Sources close to the development informed the WEEKEND NATION that the Regent Hotel. which was once a 67-room luxury property, would be reduced to rubble and none too soon for nearby residents.
According to them, the multi-storey building had steadily decayed over the eight years of its closure and was hit by at least two fires said to have beeen started by vagrants who had taken over the property for some time. (GE)
