Rihanna has reportedly splashed out on a beachside home in Barbados for her little brother Rorrey.

Rihanna has reportedly bought her brother a luxury home in Barbados.

The 24-year-old 'We Found Love' singer is said to have purchased a beachside house in her native country for Rorrey, 22, and given him an unspecified amount of cash to help launch his rap career.

A source said: ''Rihanna's close to her brother, and she'll do anything to help him out.

''They hang out a lot and are the best of friends. She wants to make sure he can develop his talent without any money worries.''

Rorrey - who goes by the name GQ - released his first single 'Feel Me' last year, and his big sister is apparently eager to help increase his chances of success.

The insider told the Daily Star newspaper: ''She loves Rorrey to bits. She wanted to set him up with his own home with a sum of money in the bank. She just did it as a surprise when he was least expecting it.''

Her generosity is said to have come as no surprise to those living in her home town - where she is known to have donated money to her local church and her old school.

The source added: ''Rihanna's not someone who squirrels her money away. She knows how to enjoy her life and loves sharing her money.''

Beachside property is a decidedly UNwise buy, given the rise in sea levels over the lifetime of lil bro Rorrey.

He best sell it quickly while someone fancies it madly, and go buy house/land in St.Thomas, 500+ ft. above sea level
because ALL that coastal frontage will be awash in 25-50 years time.

So? Is this news? Family shoud be helping each other to achieve. As for church and school, if you have it to spare, you should give generously from the heart. Money belongs in the flow, it is not to be hoarded.

Wow Rhianna, you do bad it is front line news, you do bad it is front line news.
Stay true to yourself and remain the type of person that you are; it appears that unlike other people you think of others.
I wish him the success that comes from the hard work and I hope that he does make it in this 'fish bowl' world.

@Bim Bum Would you please think for yourself on this issue. and tell me this Halifax Harbour on the Atlantic side of Canada has a Water level Gauge, and I have not shown any rise in the water level in the last decade. Al Gore one of the leading proponents of the rising water level SCARE had a HUGE Home on The Water's EGDE, do you think he knows something that we serfs don't know?? YES he knows how to make HUGE SUMS OF MONEY by SPREADING FEAR. Go ahead RORREY and live in Your FREE House.
by the Way!!!if a Japan type Tsunami Hits Bim, Mt.Hillaby won't be high enough anyway. so Hurry up and live your life to the FULLEST.

@Bim Bum if Beach property is such a bad investment why is NIS Investing 60+Million of our money in that Huge white Elephant on the Beach in St James,Perhaps you should leave Rhianna alone and offer that advise to the Government and NIS.
The Goose and The Gander should get the same advise. no???

@Bim Buman you please let us know why your are picking on Rihanna who is doing the right thing in helping her Brother out since she can afford to, and you are using the Al Gore Reasoning but at the same time The NIS With the Government's Blessing is going to invest 60+Million of our Dollars on That Beach Front White Elephant In St James. YOU ARE SPEAKING WITH A FORKED TONGUE

@Tony W:
The recent Japanese earthquake triggered powerful tsunami waves that reached heights of up to 40.5 metres (133 ft) in Miyako.

Hillaby is 1,116 ft.

I rest my case, re.elevations.

Sea level rises are going to happen as glaciers melt and North Pole ice caps shrink.
And they are doing so, if you're paying attn, but prob. not,
seeing that CropOver draws ever closer.
Sea level rises are an inescapable truth that you and I don't want to countenance
and mankind in general will pay zero attn. until important port cities (London, NYC etc) flood.

Notice I said that sea-level rise would happen *within de yute-man's lifetime* (not in a mere decade)
but still..go ahead and party down de place.
Don't dig nuthin -all is well for now!

In the weird world of Planetary Sciences, one million man-years is just ONE DAY,my friend, on the geological scale,
and each human lifetime is but a grain of dust!

Hard for humans to understand, especially while partying.. *wink*

@Bim Bum!! So Why is the Government/NIS about to spend 60+ Million of our Dollars ON That White ELEPHANT on the WEST Coast. Rihanna's Purchase is not COSTING US 1 Penny, and has on Risks on OUR NIS

T.Waterman might well ask why Government is spending our tax dollars on the W.Coast White Elephant!
That question is quite aside from the coming risk of sea-level rises.
That consideration is not part of ANYone's picture right now!

You think Government is thinking ahead THAT far? Are you serious?
Government is thinking ahead no further than the next election which they'll likely lose.
