Hola Rihanna!
Barbadian superstar Rihanna continues to rock the global stage, with her latest performance at last Sunday’s MTV European Awards 2010 in Madrid, Spain, coming in for some rave reviews. London’s Daily Mail described her gig as “showstopping”, despite, it added, “nearly busting out of a low-cut top”.
Though she did not receive any awards, Rihanna, who returned to Europe last Thursday - a day after attending former Prime Minister David Thompson’s state funeral at Kensington Oval – had something to celebrate after learning her new single had climbed to No.1 in the UK singles chart.
According to the Mail, the 22-year-old performed Only Girl (In the World) at the glitzy bash in Madrid, “wearing a fairytale inspired costume which she almost busted out of at one point complete with crown and wand”. Her song with Drake titled What’s My Name?, also emerged No. 1 on iTunes’ Top 10 selling singles for the week ending last Monday. Here in this picture, Rihanna thrills the audience in her ‘fairytale’ outfit.
