Barbadian superstar Rihanna will be looking to pick up more silverware for her cabinet when this year’s Billboard Music Awards take place tomorrow night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
She is nominated in 13 categories and will be up against the biggest names in the music industry.
The 24-year-old will be going up against the likes of Adele, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj for Top Female Artist and will also be vying for Top Artist.
The telecast, which will air on ABC, will feature performances from Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Justin Bieber, LMFAO, The Wanted, Nelly Furtado, Usher, Linkin Park and Chris Brown.
Rihanna is also nominated for Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Digital Songs Artist, Top Radio Songs Artist, Top Social Artist, Top Streaming Artist, Top Digital Media Artist, Top Pop Artist, Top R&B Artist, Top Dance Artist, Top R&B Album and Top Radio Song for We Found Love.
She was spotted at Los Angeles International Airport Friday but up to Press time there was no word on if she would be attending or would even be a surprise performer.
Stevie Wonder will also be presented with the prestigious Icon Award during the ceremony and will be saluted with an all-star tribute during the show, including a duet with Alicia Keys.
The show, to be hosted by Modern Family stars Julie Bowen and Ty Burrell, starts at 8 p.m. (NSH)
