A LARGE NUMBER of people turned out today for one of the biggest auction sales for this year in Barbados.
A wide selection of antiques, furniture, collectibles, hotel items and housewares from the Villa Nova plantation house and hotel in St John were put on the block.
The property forms part of the collapsed CLICO businesses in Barbados which is in judicial management with Deloitte Consulting Ltd in charge of its operations.
The auction sale will continue next Saturday. The property itself is on the market with an asking price of US$10 million. (ES)
