Strike action could hit telecommunications company LIME early next week.

Barbados Workers’ Union (BWU) general secretary Sir Roy Trotman yesterday served notice of the possible action after the company turned up at talks this week with no new pay proposals.

Describing the company’s actions as a “gross insult”, Sir Roy said the union now wants the company’s bosses to come to the negotiating table next Monday with a much sweeter deal or face industrial action.

He will meet with workers this morning at 8:30 at Solidarity House to update them on the union’s position.

Posted by Wendell Boyce 3 months, 1 week ago: Sir Roy only Targets Soft Barbadians Businesses, Sir already run the Government like a share holder, he caused an offshore business to pack and move on. He got no power in sandy lane and those big establishments, He is getting a big salary and perks, man let the small people live. Mr Bynoe can send home staff if that you rather, and if I was him get rid of your followers first.

Sir Roy does not skylark when he is serious (lol), only with certain people and certain times (LOL)
