SJPP in 7-1 rout

Champions Samuel Jackman Prescod Polytechnic (SJPP) trounced Grantley Adams 7-1 at Blackmans to stay top of Group B when the Coca-Cola Barbados Secondary Schools’ Football League continued on Wednesday.
Reshon Brathwaite scored a hat-trick while there were double strikes for Jadai Clarke and Deane Callender as SJPP moved their unbeaten run to six matches.
Grantley Adams’ goal came from a penalty converted by Trimain Herbert.
Three goals from captain Randy Kwang helped Lester Vaughan to a 6-0 blanking of St James at Trents. The other goalscorers were Kyle Yearwood, Rajohn Hawkesworth and Romario Drakes.
In Group A, the Barbados Community College defeated Pine Hill St Leonard’s 3-1 to maintain their stranglehold of this zone. Amal Mayers, Jabarry Brandford, Josiah Maximilien scored for the winners while Keon Atkins replied.
