Fri, August 03, 2012 - 10:11 AM

Police are investigating the discovery of skeletal remains found in a bushy area near the Light House at Harrisons, St. Lucy, around 5. 20 p.m. on Wednesday August 1, 2012, by three persons who went fishing.

The remains are suspected to be those of missing man David Nathaniel Bishop, 72 years, formerly of Pie Corner, St. Lucy.  He was at the time a resident of the Roy Wardeen Retirement Home at Friendly Hall, St. Lucy.

David Bishop was reported missing to the police after he apparently walked away from the Home on February 23, 2012.  It was reported that he suffered from Dementia.

Investigations will continue to positively identify the remains.
