St Joseph wins Parish Ambassadors

An elated St Joseph team jumped for joy when their representatives Rommell Marshall and Kimberley Knight were announced Most Outstanding Parish Ambassadors in the Spirit of the Nation Show last night at the gymnasium Garfield Sobers Complex.

First runner-up was St Peter, second-runner-up was St Lucy and third-runner-up was Christ Church.

The competiion was keenly contested in a number categories. St Joseph, however, had a good night copping Attendent of the Year, Committee of the Year and Parish Project Committee of the Year.

Awards were also given to participants in the Mini-Parks and Gardens competitions.

Supporting entertainment was provided by Red Plastic Bag,  calypso king of Barbados. (JS)
