Barbados experienced pockets of moderate to heavy showers throughout yesterday as a result of the passage of Tropical Storm Isaac.
Road users were forced to be cautious as there were high water levels, particularly in sections of St James, St George and St Michael. And the Meteorological Department issued advisories for sea bathers and small craft operators.
Meanwhile, airline passengers were inconvenienced as regional carrier LIAT announced a major disruption of its service with the cancellation of 15 flights, including three originating in?Barbados, while two were rescheduled. (AH)
