A POST MORTEM is to be conducted into the death of 45-year-old Linda Tull whose body was discovered in her car in Oistins, Christ Church, late last night.
According to a release by police public relations officer Inspector David Welch, Tull and her daughter were leaving the area when they were accosted by a man known to them.
Her daughter left to call the police, but when they returned, Tull was found slumped in her car which was parked on the road behind the Randall Phillips Polyclinic.
An ambulance was summoned, but Tull died at the scene.
This incident occurred around 11:40 p.m.
Meanwhile, in an unrelated incident, police are also investigating the circumstances surrounding the stabbing of two women in Spooners Hill, St Michael on Wednesday evening.
Around 7 p.m., 60-year-old Vincent McClean Marshall reportedly stabbed his 50-year-old financée Judy Brathwaite in the stomach.
Her friend Maureen Callender Harris, who was present at the time, was also reportedly attacked by him and received a stab wound to her abdomen.Â
Both women were taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) by private transportation where Harris underwent emergency surgery and was detained.Â
Sometime later, Marshall, of Woodstock Road, Spooners Hill was taken to the QEH after reportedly ingesting a noxious liquid.
He died on Thursday. (PR)
