YESTERDAY WAS REMEMBRANCE DAY in Barbados and members of the St Michael South-Central Constituency Council took time out to lay wreaths on the grave of the late Prime Minister David Thompson.
Member of Parliament for St Michael South Central Richard Sealy, members of the council and constituents were all passengers on a scenic ride that culminated at Bath, St John.
“We thought it was appropriate to come to St John’s Parish Church yard and pay homage to the memory of our late leader and Prime Minister of Barbados, knowing how much an event like this represents what he believed in,” said Sealy, adding that he was happy to join in fellowship with his constituents.
