Three on drug charges

THREE MEN ARE expected to appear in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court tomorrow to face drug charges.

They are 30-year-old Jomo Jalon Jack, 31-year-old Allison Agustus Blugh and 28-year-old Kevin David Christopher Joe, all from St Vincent.

According to police, the three men were on a speed boat which members of the Drug Squad intercepted about four nautical miles off Mullins, St Peter around 2:45 a.m. on Wednesday.

A bale of cannabis weighing thirty pounds was discovered and confiscated. 

They were jointly charged with the offences of possession of cannabis, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation. (PR/NB)
