Thousands of spectators crammed every vantage point available at Oistins Bay Gardens, Christ Church, to get a glimpse of the annual semi-finals of the Banks Calendar Girl competition on Thursday night.

The night saw 16 contestants parading across the stage in swimwear and modelling Banks jerseys, but by the end of the night only eight were chosen for the Friday, December 5 final at the same venue.

The clear crowd favourite was Tia Sealy, whose name was the last to be announced to loud screams and cheers of approval. (NS/TTY)
