Trinidadian caught with liquid cocaine

TRINIDADIAN national Charlen Ulanda Ferguson was arrested and charged with four offences related to the discovery of liquid cocaine in 218 bottles of cosmetics in her luggage.
She has been charged with possession of 1.74 kilograms of cocaine, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation.
On Independence Day, Ferguson, 33, arrived in Barbados from Trinidad and was interviewed by personnel from the Drug Squad after clearing immigration.
She was searched by Customs personnel, but nothing was found. She was taken to the Oistins Police Station and a more detailed search of her luggage was done.
The liquid cocaine was discovered in a box of cosmetics.
Ferguson is expected to appear in District B Magistrate Court tomorrow. (PR)
