Austin “SuperBlue’ Lyons added the Road March crown to his joint Soca Monarch success in what has turned out to be a spectacular Carnival season for the soca artiste.
His monster comeback song “Fantastic Friday” was expected to face a stiff challenge form “Float”, the contender of Soca Monarch co-winner Machel Montano.
But in the end it turned out to be one way traffic with “Fantastic Friday” being played 511 times compared to 56 for “Float.”
The win took his Road March tally to nine.
