They came on different flights but they were packing the same illegal drugs in their systems.
Two Jamaican men pleaded guilty to four drug charges each, when they appeared in the Oistins Magistrates’ Court yesterday before Chief Magistrate Pamela Beckles.
Both St Aubyn Mark Barnes, 40, of Clarendon, and Tyrone Jerome Taylor, 23, of Kingston, swallowed packages of drugs before entering the island.
According to police prosecutor, Sergeant Rudolph Burnett, Barnes came here on July 21 with 74 taped packages in his system while Taylor arrived on August 2 with 47 similar packages.
Both men pleaded guilty to possession, trafficking, intent to supply and importation of the marijuana. (SD)
