How timely the P.E.P's column on those imperial honours which are still being bestowed upon and accepted by Barbadian citizens. Forty-six years of political sovereignty and we are still being named commanders and officers of an empire that deciminated the physical and mental beings of our foreparents. The process of emancipation is indeed a long, hard one. Can't help wondering if it will ever be completed.
