QUEEN’S COLLEGE are in the semi-finals – with a round to spare.
Led by Donte Niles’ six-wicket haul, the unbeaten Zone C leaders swept to their fourth victory on the trot after romping to an impressive six-wicket victory on the road against Foundation in the fourth-round LIME Under-15 cricket match at Church Hill.
Niles took six for 46 as the hosts crumbled for just 90 after both teams posted an identical score of 152 in the first innings.
Yvan Grant (29) and Nicholas Kirton (24) then guided the visitors to victory.
The win moved the Husbands side to an unassailable 32 points ahead of next week’s final-round match against St George.
There were also convincing victories for Zone A front-runners Easy Bake St Leonard’s, Coleridge & Parry, KFC Ellerslie, Alexandra, Alleyne, Combermere and St James.
