The Cabinet of Barbados put the names Greenidge and Haynes on the famous stand at Kensington Oval.
If a name is to come off, they will have to be the ones to remove it.
That’s the word from Kensington Oval Management Incorporated (KOMI) boss Ben Toppin, in the wake of West Indies legend Desmond Haynes’s distress call earlier this week.
A depressed Haynes said Tuesday he would be seeking legal advice on how to have his name removed from the stand on the Oval’s western side, after he had been denied smooth access into the historic ground last Sunday, just before the West Indies faced off against England in the first match of their three-match Twenty20 series.
