The Nation’s Online Editor Carol Martindale looks at What’s Trending today.
Licensed gun dealer Greg Cozier who was charged with illegal storing of firearms has filed lawsuits against Commissioner of Police Darwin Dottin is the story making the rounds on our Facebook page today.
This is what some readers are saying:
Patrick Porter: “ I have fought in Vietnam and have used my weapon to kill people. Guns are terrible things and no one should even think of having one…”
Princess Neferua: “Why do we need gun dealers in this island? We have no wildlife here to kill. The only people who should have guns should be the Police Force, the Barbados Defence Force, or any license business. People who have money should have their home and valuables monitored by a security agent. Anyone else found with a gun or guns should be charged accordingly.”
Readers are also commenting about the story about the new home received by Joyce Adams and family.
The family moved from a dilapidated home to a spanking new duplex at Evelyn Avenue, Bayville, St Michael.
Titus Thomas: “I am really happy for that family. A lovely house at last. God is good.”
Ever Bless: “They deserve it! God really is good everytime.”
