The sad news of the death of the 21-year-old Trinidadian student Shenice Davis after she fell ill at Grantley Adams International Airport yesterday has pulled at the heartstrings of some online readers. Davis was on her way home for the Christmas break.

Ali Cia: How sad! What a 'blow' this must be to her family! May she rest in peace and rise in glory!”

Victoria Lily: “This is so sad. It’s never a good time to have a death in the family but I think this time of the year is worse. Rest in Peace.”

Patrick Tannis: “Very sad to have seen this, we are for sure praying for the family and our sincere condolences to all close to her. May she rest in peace and rise in glory.”
