The Nation’s Online Editor Carol Martindale looks at What’s Trending in Barbados.

Residents of Montrose and Kingsland, as well as business people in the area are frustrated that roadworks in that area are taking too long to complete.

They say dealing with the clouds of dust and noisy machinery has become the routine for them.

Our online readers this morning are venting their own concerns.

Julia Moseley: “Still? I left Barbados on February 29 and the roadworks were there in Montrose. Someone's head needs to roll for this!”

Natalia Reid Walcott: “ Road works were happening for the last three years, just about. Children have gone back into school in all this dust, my daughter has bad allergies and bad skin problems due to this dust, and what could I look out through my front door on Friday and see? Men drinking cases of beer after a seemingly ‘long’ day's work - stick a fork in me, I am so done with this!”

David Aplmac: “Golf Club Road taking too long as well, but the problem is that Government
has little or no money to do stuff like this so the butter getting spread thin, if at all. It's called Tough Times, peoples…”
