Mon, April 30, 2012 - 9:31 AM

The Nation’s Online Editor Carol Martindale looks at What’s Trending in Barbados today.

The breaking news this morning is that police are questioning the estranged husband of Nicole Harrison-Watson who was found dead on Saturday in her Ferniehurst, Black Rock, St Michael home.

The 37-year-old mother was found with her hands tied, mouth taped and half naked.

Our readers had this to say about the new development in this case.

Cherie Bayley: “This will pain even more as I know both very well... so sad.”

Janine Greaves:  “If he did this I will never be able to comprehend. What have you done?. Rest in peace Nicole. To the family, your friends, loved ones, the nation of Barbados  are praying for you.”

Shaundell Beckles-Corbin:  “This angers me too. What is wrong with the men in our society?”

Not so fast, people. Don't you think we're a little premature here. No one's been charged with this murder. It is routine procedure for the Police to question anyone who might have been with the victim leading up to the death. Sometimes they are onto to the killer; sometimes they are not.
