When readers read that last night a man was shot dead while travelling in a minibus along the Pine/Wildey, they were in shock.

Many could not believe the incident happened right here in Barbados.

Today we reported that Alex Romel Samuel of Jackson, St Michael was gunned down at point blank range by an unidentified man in full view of several stunned passengers.

The 30-year-old man was shot in the chest around 5:40 p.m. on B132 which was en route to Bridgetown.
