The Nation’s Online Editor Carol Martindale looks at What’s Trending today in Barbados.
Hands down, the most talked about story today, is President Barack Obama’s big win of yesterday’s election in the United States of America.
Minutes after midnight, local time, CNN predicted Obama’s re-election and by 1:30 p.m. the President was making his speech to supporters in Chicago where his election part was held.
This is what some readers had to say about that big win:
Angela J Thompson Branch: “I feel so a part of this moment. The people that rule my dear land need to take a look and learn.”

Paul Shotta: “Well done my black president.”

Augustus Searles: “Congratulations President Obama. The battle was long and hard this only made OUR victory sweeter.”

Sandra Partap: “Congratulations President Obama.”
