THE MAN who has held more positions in West Indies cricket than any other is optimistic that the regional team will return to the top of the world game.

When I watch this crop of players, compared to the teams of the 80s and early 90s, I see a team that has lost its way and seem more concern with image and financial reward - even with poor performances. I also see the WICB as an organization that has no clue where to begin to rebuild WI cricket.
It is sad that I have to look external to the NBA, IPL, English Premier League and La Liga for my sporting highs these days.
So, Sir Wes, maybe I can borrow your crystal ball.
