Women fight off would-be robber

Wed, August 18, 2010 - 12:00 AM

Two brave employees of the Geriatric Hospital had no intention of letting a would-be robber take their purses last Monday.
Public relations officer of the Royal Barbados Police Force, Inspector David Welch, revealed that just after 6 a.m., the two women were assaulted at the Beckles Road, St Michael facility by an unknown man, who attempted to snatch their handbags.
But the women refused, engaging in a struggle and never letting go of their property. The man eventually ran off.
According to Welch, both women gave police a description of the man, and investigations are continuing. (BA)

Hats off to the ladies who fought these two unknown assailants. Now, if I could get more Barbadian women resisting the “known assailants,” these three quarter pant wearing man/boys, then so many children will not be fatherless. The boys/young men would not be in the sad state they’re in today.  How about it ladies.

Good work ladies do not let all you have worked so hard for be spend by these fools. He should have a lasting mark to show for his folly . Too many people today want it all but not through an honest days work.
