THE YOUNG MEN’S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION (YMCA) is facing a problem of inadequate facilities, says president David Norgrove.
“We are being hampered a bit by the facilities that are old, getting rundown,” Norgrove said while attending the YMCA’s Ballroom Dance Club’s fun day yesterday.
Plans were made for rebuilding the facilities at the “Y” in Pinfold Street but the association was depending on the public for assistance, he said.
The president said the intention was to construct a facility that provided modern amenities so that it could attract more young people and continue to do the great work it had been doing.  (LK)
