MISS BARBADOS WORLD will be travelling in style next month courtesy of Duty Free Caribbean.

The organisation, which has been a sponsor of the local competition for a few years now, presented ZoƩ Trotman with two pieces of United Colors of Benetton polyurethane luggage today in the Nicholas House branch of Cave Shepherd in Broad Street, the City.

ā€œThis is part of our ongoing sponsorship of the Miss Barbados World pageant. This year we were especially proud because ZoĆ© is a team member at our main Broad Street store,ā€ said brand manager Kay Richards.

As for Trotman, she said she loved her new luggage as it was distinctive, which she said was important.

ā€œI really like how light they are. They are also very durable and I like the colour. I want something that I can see from the runway,ā€ she said.

Trotman leaves Barbados for London on November 20. The big pageant takes place on December 14 where Trotman said she felt confident of being the second black woman to win the prestigious event. (CA)
