Christmas morning in Queen's Park is a time-honoured tradition, and as the Park enters its centenary celebrations, this Christmas was no different. Hundreds of Barbadians flocked to the Park in their finery to meet and greet old friends and listen to local bands. Even with the Royal Barbados Police Force band, Promise, Sheldon Hope, Philip Seven and other performers, the biggest stars of the morning were the ordinary folk who transformed themselves into extraordinary and fashionable spectacles for Christmas Day.
