Almond fallout would hurt Banks

CLOSURE OF ALMOND Beach Village hotel would have a major impact on the revenue of Banks Holdings Limited (BHL).
 Chief executive officer (CEO) of BHL, Richard Cozier, made this disclosure yesterday at the CEO’s Award of Excellence presentation at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre in Two Mile Hill, St Michael.
 “Almond is huge in terms of the hospitality industry and its closure will have an impact on any supplier to it,” Cozier said.
“They are our single largest draughts beer customer in addition to which they buy a lot of our carbonated soft drinks, so their closure is definitely going to impact on our sales in those categories.
