Digicel outscores rivals, says NISE

Telecoms operator Digicel is outperforming its major rival and other utility companies in customer satisfaction and reliability.
According to the latest National Initiative Service For Excellence (NISE) Customer Satisfaction Index Report, Digicel was ranked first with an overall score of 83 out of 100, the Barbados Water Authority (BWA) second with 70, and the Barbados Light & Power Company (BL&P) Limited third with 59 points.
LIME was ranked last with a score of 58 for its fixed line telephone service, 53 for mobile and 52 for Internet satisfaction.
The National Petroleum Coporation and TeleBarbados were not included in the survey.
Delivering the findings yesterday at the NISE Harbour Road, St Michael headquarters, Kim Tudor, chief executive officer said customers generally believed they were getting less quality of service from the utility companies than they expected. (MM)
