Kamla falls ill in Barbados

Trinidad and Tobago’s Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar has reportedly fallen ill in Barbados where she is attending the Mexico-CARICOM Summit at the Hilton Hotel.
The Prime Minister was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) this evening.
Acting Prime Minister in Trinidad Jack Warner confirmed that Persad-Bissessar was taken to the hospital for tests but did not give any details.
