Levi back with a bang

​LEVI CADOGAN rebounded from a sub-par CARIFTA Games outing to win the men’s 100 metres at the 12th Austin Sealy Classic last Saturday evening at the National Stadium.

Even without schoolmate Deon Hope pushing him to the line, Cadogan produced one of his fastest times of the season, winning in 10.69 seconds.

Fifteen-year-old Mario Burke, the CARIFTA bronze medallist in the 200 metres, was second in 10.78 and Jermaine Hinds was third in 10.81 seconds.

Katrina Weir won the women’s 100 metres in 11.91 seconds and Shakera Hall raced to a personal best 11.97 seconds to take silver. Leah Barker was third in 12.53.
