Patrons vex about after-party

PATRONS CONTINUE to be loud about the fallout from last Friday’s after-party for Rihanna at Limegrove.
Disgruntled fans have been using Facebook and other social media to vent about a number of things: not being able to get into the venue even though they had bought tickets, the inadequate accommodation at the upscale mall, and lack of an opportunity to meet and greet the woman of the hour.
Reports are that Rihanna, who gave a near two-hour show at her homecoming concert at Kensington Oval, spent 15 minutes at Limegrove before taking off.
Except for issuing a statement on Facebook, organizers have not yet spoken publicly to the issues raised or offered any detailed explanations.
Following is the text that was posted:
“Dear Patron,
“We wish to thank you for your generous support at LOUD: The Official After-Party on Friday, August 5.
“We acknowledge that there were several complications on the night of the event. We are now working with all the event stakeholders to make an assessment of the situation, which we hope to have resolved as soon as possible.
“We promise further communication and assure a response to your queries after the issue has been thoroughly investigated.
“We request your continued patience and understanding at this time.”
