CARICOM’s sub-committee on West Indies cricket is now in urgency mode.

With the Chris Gayle saga finally over and the swashbuckling batsman ready to wear maroon in England this month, CARICOM’s special body with responsibility for cricket is to meet next month under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Baldwin Spencer of Antigua and Barbuda.

And everyone involved in the administration of West Indies cricket will have to be there.

“We have to get everyone at the table. We will be talking with the [West Indies Cricket Board], the Players Association, and the sponsors as well,” Spencer told the WEEKEND NATION in an exclusive interview.
