Rifles in the grass

A special team has been set up to probe the discovery of a cache of weapons in a grassy area at Paragon, Christ Church, on Monday evening.

Lawmen, acting on a tip-off, found 12 rifles, all of different calibre.

Police public relations officer Inspector David Welch told the WEEKEND NATION last night that three types of rifles, including air rifles, were found.

Think BRA = Barbados Rifle Assoc.
whose clubhouse and various ranges are also at Paragon.

The poor BRA can only hang its head in shame now
while honourable deceased founder members like Aubrey Robets and Milton Tucker are turning in their graves
for the shame of it all!

Posted by Pan Wallie 1 year ago: A few years ago, had the fellows that use to make pipe guns from bicycle tubes gotten their hands on them, you would have seen just how defunct they are. The only reason they don't bother to make those guns now is because the real Mc coys are so readily available in Bim, it's as easy as buying a tin of milk from the shop. Anyway, who was suppose to collect them from there and why?
