Posted by Hazel Eastmond 2 years, 11 months ago: first how recent is recent and what is the family going to gain from his best friend? regardless, life must go on, and he/she has already kicked the bucket, and i don't believe in worshiping the dead, so it depends on how good the dead was to me and the family, if he/she was a runt, good riddance, but if he/she was someone that is worth honouring the memories, then it would be left for many cold showers and sweet memories.

It is dishonoring, in my view, regardless of the sort of relationship my deceased husband and I had.

Only a woman with 'loose morals' will turn to that friend.
If she must get a man, then there are millions of other men that she can seek out.
