UPDATE: Thorpe released from QEH

 Veteran motor sports journalist Trevor Thorpe and officer Samuel Hackett have both been released from the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
This news comes from a press release by the Barbados Rally Club. It states: “Following yesterday’s incident during the Valvoline Shakedown Stages, the Club is pleased to report that both journalist Trevor Thorpe and Island Constable Samuel Hackett have been discharged from the QEH. Both were subject to thorough checks, including CAT scans. We wish them both a speedy return to full health.”
