The Nation’s Online Editor Carol Martindale looks at What’s Trending today in Barbados.
Some readers are today empathizing with the family of slain police 784 Dexter Yarde, who after eight years, still cannot get closure from his puzzling August 2004 shooting death in Vauxhall, St James.
The family, who lives at Charnocks, Christ Church, yesterday described it as a "crying shame".
Our readers had some words for the family.
Conchita Moseley: “Keep your strength, someday somebody might talk.”
Perro Holloway: “This is one of those mystery cases, and there are a few of them in Barbados’ history. My message to the family as bad as it may sound "move on".
The story about the closure of Almond Beach Village on Monday is another story trending today.
Staff are no closer to knowing when they will be getting their severance packages.
Again, readers were saddened.
