A driving example

There is a TV advertisement that shows a certain drinks truck driver waving out of the window and looking to his right – with only one hand on the wheel – obviously not observing where he is going.
Many years ago, while on my side of the road in a blind bend, I had a head-on collision with a truck.
I now know the reason: the driver was waving to someone and not looking where he was going.
Still, in this day and age, I suppose the TV ad could have the driver on his cellphone as well.
