Christopher McClean, the son of Bajan parents Bertha and Ashley McClean, was officially sworn in as a Lower Moreland police officer in the Township Building on April 18.
Attending the ceremony were his parents Ashley and Bertha McClean, his sister Lauren McClean, who attended Harrison College in Barbados and graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia, and his son Christopher Jr, who held The Bible for his father at the swearing in.
Christopher’s swearing in is significant because he is the first black police officer hired by the Lower Moreland Police Department in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
