Address school issues now

AFTER THE PRIME MINISTER met with and gave assurances to the teachers that he would take corrective measures to resolve the issues confronting the school, all effort should have been expended to bring normalcy to The Alexandra School.
It is unfortunate that the teachers had to resort to industrial action again at the beginning of another school term. I am of the firm view that the issues at The Alexandra School have to be addressed urgently. Whatever corrective measures are needed to bring this situation to a resolution must be implemented.
The students’ education is too important to allow the impasse at Alexandra to linger. Hence, the Prime Minister should stop dragging his feet and act now, thereby averting an escalation of the situation.
