It’s a poor dog’s life

I am deeply sorry for the family attacked by the three pit bulls recently, and wish them speedy recovery.
It is unfortunate for this breed of dog to have such a terrible reputation. But how you treat your dogs will determine how they behave.
Many dogs are mistreated by their owners, family members, friends, neighbours and passers-by, and they react in different ways. Some of them become scared and shy, and remain in a corner afraid to venture out of their space, and others become aggressive.
There are many people who own dogs, and other pets, who are not in a position to own one. Some of them can barely feed them, which can lead to their attacking other animals and humans eventually.
We need to look at the root of these dog attacks: the owners.
