A FULL STAFF AUDIT is coming to the Barbados Tourism Authority.

Minister of Tourism Richard Sealy told the House yesterday that the audit would ensure that the BTA was capable of effectively marketing the country's tourism and taking Barbados into the future.

He said Government was not simply looking at chopping and changing but at taking a serious look at the insitution as Government sought to take the tourism industry to another level.

The Minister was full of praise for another industry entity, the Barbados Tourism Investment Incorporated, which celebrated its tenth anniversary this year.

"I salute much of the work done by the BTII. It remains very efective, particularly in urban Barbados," he said. (RJ)
