QC ran into foul trouble from as early as the first quarter which saw coach Ryan Holford forcedto rotate his key men to ensure that he hada competitive six for the full game.
A game-high 22 points from Nicholai Burton also kept HC in the hunt to hold on to their unbeaten record after finishing the first half with a slight 22-19 lead.
Unfortunately, Burton lacked a strong supporting cast as only Joel Hunte, with seven points, battled purposefully to win the College fight.
On the other hand, the skillful Kieron Savouryscored 17 points for QC and got admirable supportfrom Devon Deane, 12, and Malcolm Hendricks, 11.
HC have dropped to 3-1 to hold a one-point leadover the only other unbeaten team, Garrison Secondary, who are 3-0.
Neither HC nor QC have met the Garrison, who in three matches, have scored almost 200 points more than they have dropped to their vanquished opponents. (KB)
