As the world mourns the loss of pop legend Whitney Houston, prayers and well wishes from fans worldwide continue to pour in for the star’s relatives, who, as expected, are struggling with the news. Houston’s daughter with ex-husband Bobby Brown, Bobbi Kristina Brown, arrived at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, where her mother passed away, several hours after learning the news. Sources tell TMZ.com that when she arrived, she demanded to see her mother’s body, but police on the scene would not let her into the hotel room. It’s said that the 19-year-old then became visibly upset, screaming at the officers and demanding to see her mom.
Brown received news of his ex-wife’s passing while en route to a performance in Mississippi with his New Edition bandmates.  Prior to the performance, a source close to the group told the media the band was doing their very best to support Brown, but that he wasn’t doing well.
The show did go on. Brown was noticeably absent from the opening song, but later took to the stage sobbing as he asked the audience to sing along with him to his hit song “Tenderoni,” which he dedicated to Houston. “First of all, I want to tell you that I love you all,” Brown told the audience. “Second, I would like to say, ‘I love you, Whitney.’ The hardest thing for me to do is come on this stage.” Later in the night, Brown shouted: “I love you, Whitney!” with tears in his eyes, and blew kisses to the sky.
