FESTIVAL DESIGNER OF the year Kevin Small is now in the driver’s seat of his brand new Mazda 2.

On Wednesday at Consolidated Finance, Hastings, Christ Church, a sense of jubilation filled the air as the Fifth Element Mas bandleader was showered in confetti as he and his team celebrated their earnings.

During the recently concluded Crop Over festival, Small’s Junior Kadooment band Candyland 246 and his Grand Kadooment showing Econ Money earned the 25-year the coveted Robert Weekes Festival Designer of the Year award at the conclusion of the annual festival.

His win was contested by other bandleaders who questioned the judges’ decision.

However after an arbitration process, Small remained victorious. (TG)
